About Course

Form 1 Mathematics — Term 1 is a structured mathematics course designed to help learners build a strong foundation in essential Form 1 mathematical concepts.

The course begins with Numbers, where learners explore different types of numbers, prime factors, HCF, LCM, the number line, number patterns, puzzles and combined operations on real numbers. Learners then progress to Integers, developing confidence in performing the four basic operations with positive and negative numbers.

The final part of the course focuses on Approximations, including decimal places, significant figures, rounding off, scientific notation, error and accuracy, upper and lower bounds, absolute error, relative error and percentage error.

Through clear lessons, worked examples, practice activities, quizzes and assessments, learners will develop both their conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.

Learn the concepts. Practise the skills. Build mathematical confidence.
